Plumb Library will be open M-F, 9 AM - 4:30 PM, Sat., 10 AM - 3 PM. For further details, please visit sheltonlibrarysystem.org. Huntington Branch library remains closed. Registrar of Voters office is open M-F, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Senior Center will be open M-F, 9 AM - 2PM, by reservation only. Call the info line at 203-924-2355 for further details. Youth Service Bureau is open. Animal Shelter is open from 8 AM – 4 PM, Mon-Fri, appointment only. Voicemails will be responded to promptly. For emergencies, please contact the Police Department. VOTING NOTICE

Due to COVID restrictions, voters will park and enter the schools from the back doors of the gymnasiums at Elizabeth Shelton Elementary School, Long Hill Elementary School & Mohegan Elementary School.  For voting at Shelton Intermediate School, voters will enter from the outside gymnasium door closest to the Main Entrance.

ATTENTION!!!

Please be advised all absentee ballots which have been requested have been mailed.  Once you have received and completed the ballot you can either mail it back to the City/Town Clerk’s office or you can drop it in one of four ballot boxes which are located at: 

  • City Hall – 54 Hill Street
  • Community Center – 41 Church Street
  • White Hills Fire House – 2 School Street
  • Pine Rock Fire House – 722 Long Hill Avenue

NOTICE: To obtain applications for absentee ballots for the November 3, 2020 Presidential election, please call (203) 924-1555, ext. 1403.  Please listen to the voice message and be prepared to leave your name, address and the number of applications you wish to receive.

NOTICE: On Monday, October 26th, Public Works is scheduled to begin a drainage project on Rocky Rest Rd between Old Coram Rd and Wagon Rd, also known as the ‘S’ turns.  The project is expected to take approximately 2 weeks to complete. Drivers are urged to use an alternate route when traveling between Rte. 110 and Long Hill Avenue.  Expect delays. Please proceed with caution and pay attention to the signage and traffic control personnel.
