School To Career
School to Career provides educationally rewarding and beneficial learning experiences for all students. Work and school based learning, and connecting activities create pathways which provide all students with academic and work based opportunities that are an integral part of a continuum of life-long learning. By integrating vocational studies with relevant college preparatory curriculum components, we prepare students to meet the educational needs of the 21st century.

For just one moment, think back to a time in your life when you were young and thought no one was on your side. Close your eyes and picture someone in your life that reminded you that you were special, and could succeed no matter what. When you open your eyes again, you probably have a clear image of that person - friend, relative, teacher, etc. who was there for you, providing consistent and reliable support. For more than 100 students in the Shelton School System, their images are of their "mentors" - caring men and women throughout the greater Shelton area who volunteer their time to spend on hour each week with their men tees during the school day.
